Location

Located on the southern coast, approximately 35 miles from Higuey, this hotel sits on the palm lined beach of Bavaro. The resort forms a complex with the adjacent Iberostar Dominicana, creating the opportunity for guests to use all facilities at both locations.

Facilities

The resort´s spacious main building includes the reception, lobby, bar and a buffet restaurant. Plus state-of-the-art facilities, which include a casino, fitness center, spa and even a beauty salon. All lounge chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are complimentary. The resort´s shopping complex includes a nightclub, casino, internet cafe, sports bar, pharmacy and bank.

Resort Highlights & Activities

Guests can take advantage of the many entertainment options at the resort, including free entry into the night club, with open bar. Children ages 3-12 can have hours of fun at the Mini-Club while adults enjoy free Merengue lessons. Participate in activities including, aerobics, archery, table tennis and water polo. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness center and one hour of tennis court usage per person per day (night tennis is available for an additional charge). Windsurfing and sailing are offered subject to availability.

Enjoy the CDC PADI Gold Palm Resort Dive Center, which offers various diving courses from beginner to instructor levels. Equipment rental, snorkel tours and courses are also available.

Rooms

All rooms have a large double bed or two twin beds, private bath and shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, telephone, cable TV and mini-bar (soft drinks and beer included). A safety deposit box is available for an additional charge.

Spa

The spa offers guests a calming oasis in which to completely relax. It boasts a Jacuzzi, sauna (available by appointment only) and a variety of the finest massages and beauty treatments.

All-Inclusive

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurants, which boast open kitchens. For dinner, there are five specialty restaurants including Tropical, Mexican, Oriental, Gourmet and a Steakhouse. Reservations are required and a table is guaranteed twice during each week. There is also a dress code which requires that gentlemen wear long trousers. Another dining option is the Star Rock Café, serving American-style food and offering self-seating. Snacks, drinks and the 24-hour bar service are complimentary.
