Itinerary

Day 1 ARRIVE LIBERIA, COSTA RICA / LAKE COTER
Upon arrival in Liberia you are met and transferred to the Ecolodge, in the heart of Costa Rica’s rainforest.

Day 2 LAKE COTER
Spend an eventful day in the rainforest. Included during your stay are a guided nature walk and horseback riding. Optional activities include kayaking, a canopy walk, bird watching and a visit to the Maluku Indian village. Your lodge naturalist will have plenty of other suggestions to make the most of your stay.

Day 3 LAKE COTER / ARENAL
A relaxing morning before heading out to Arenal Volcano, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Later this afternoon visit the relaxing hot springs surrounding Arenal Volcano, set amidst beautiful tropical gardens.

Day 4 PEÑAS BLANCAS RIVER FLOAT TRIP
Spend the first part of your day on the Peñas Blancas River. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest and experience the peacefulness as you gently float down the river. Keep a look out for monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and colorful tropical birds. Your afternoon is free for independent activities. Be sure to spend time at the many shops in La Fortuna and maybe rent a bike or take a guided nature walk.

Day 5 ARENAL / GUANACASTE
Head northwest to the Guanacaste coast, Costa Rica’s sunniest beach area. Later today relax on the beach and enjoy a swim in the warm Pacific waters.

Days 6 & 7 GUANACASTE
Two days at leisure to relax and enjoy the beach. There is an array of optional activities including a skywalk in the rainforest, golf and a guided hike through the jungle.

Day 8 GUANACASTE / DEPART LIBERIA

Meals Included
7 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 6 dinners.
